Tie Dye
A few days ago our class was Tie dying I was the first one, to tie dye we dampened our T-shirts and put in our patterns. We held it together with rubber bands. After we had our paint shirts on and gloves we got started putting colour all over. Soon after we were finished we put them in our plastic bag for 24 hours, we rinsed them and hung them up to dry. I made my T-shirt to look like a water melon. Here are some photos.

DeleteKia Ora Iris! I love the way you have done the water melon it is really cool! How long did it take you to put the tie die on? This reminds me of my tie die t-shirt. I did a spiral pattern!

Kia Ora Ella! It only took 5 - 10 minutes. How did your one turn out? I want to put seeds on it so it looks more like a water melon.

Hey Iris! It's me Kyra from Totara 3! I like your post about Tie Dying and the art soiree because you gave a good description on how to Tie Dye. Why did you make your T-Shirt like a watermelon?
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of when we did our Tie Dying. I chose the spiral design, I think it turned out cool but I needed a little more blue. Could you tell me how to do the water melon design, as I might use it if I ever get the chance to do Tie Dying again!
Maybe next time you could include the website on where you found your Tie Dying design from so others can use it too, as it is a very cool design.
He Whetu Koe!
From Kyra
Hey Kyra! I made my t-shirt like a watermelon because I thought it looked really cool and the weather is getting warmer. I think your Tie Dye looks really cool to! To Do The watermelon design I just rolled it up so that the T-shirt is still facing you. You use two rubber bands one as high as you want the green to go and one a tiny bit higher. Then you Tie Dye it and you know the rest.
DeleteSee You Later!!!
